Based in Vienna, Austria, I’m a WordPress consultant and developer with over 16 years of experience in IT, specializing in solving critical site issues, debugging complex systems, and finding reliable solutions when the obvious fixes fall short.

What I Do

I work as an independent WordPress consultant and developer, specializing in solving critical site issues and complex technical problems.

My work focuses on WordPress systems that have become difficult to debug or maintain — from multilingual and WooCommerce sites to plugin conflicts, legacy codebases, and complex integrations.

Before consulting, I spent years at OnTheGoSystems and WPML, including leading a distributed Technical Support Team and working with thousands of real-world WordPress cases. That experience shaped how I approach complex production sites today.

Alongside client work, I contribute to the WordPress project and its community.

Beyond client work, I’m actively involved in the WordPress open source project and its community. I contribute to the WordPress.org Plugins Team, speak at WordCamps, and help co-organize WordCamp Vienna.

As part of the WordPress.org Plugins Team (sponsored by SiteGround), I review plugin submissions for security, code quality, and compliance with repository guidelines, while helping developers bring their plugins to the official WordPress repository.

Over the years, I’ve also contributed to WordPress Core and the Incident Response Team, and have been involved in organizing WordCamp Europe 2023 and WordCamp Vienna. At WordCamp Europe, my roles have included Content Co-Lead and Track Manager.

I regularly share what I’ve learned through talks and workshops covering WordPress, technical support, CLI tooling, automation, and AI-powered workflows.
