I’ll be speaking at the WordPress Meetup Vienna tomorrow 🎤
The meetup topic is “Save Time, Save Sanity: Automating WordPress”, and I’ll be giving a session called:
“WordPress Automation in 2026 – Practical Workflows with WP-CLI & AI”
Building on my WCEU 2025 talk and everything that has happened since June (including the WP AI Team, the Abilities API, and more), I’ll walk through the evolution from classic WP-CLI usage to scripts, AI, MCP, and Agentic Commerce (ACP).
Using real-world examples from my daily work, I’ll show how AI can support WordPress developers with things like generated WP-CLI scripts, Playground Blueprints, log summaries, SQL helpers, debugging workflows, and other practical AI-powered tools.
To wrap things up, I’ll also show an example of how n8n can be part of an automation workflow, for example updating plugins by triggering WP-CLI commands.
